The Knox side of Knox-Henderson has definitely been undergoing a bit of a transformation lately. For every exit (Highland Park Soda Fountain, sigh) there seems to be an entrance (hey, Res Ipsa and Yeti). We’ve swapped Garrett Leight for Away and Outdoor Voices for Parachute. The neighborhood also has the unique distinction of having stores that are only temporarily gone — both Restoration Hardware and Weir’s will make their Knox Street comeback down the line.

It’s been a little hard for a shopper to keep up, but fortunately, Knox District is giving Dallas a good reason to make regular visits to the evolving neighborhood. Their “Knox District First Fridays” series kicks off today, with discounts and experiences at Black Optical, Follain, Bldwn, lululemon, and more at the start of each month. (This Instagram post sums it up nicely.)

Happy 2020 shopping!
