For some of us, Christmas trees went up the day after Thanksgiving. For others, ornaments are still sitting in the attic. Whether you’ve been in the holiday spirit for weeks or are just getting started, we’ve sourced a few finds to spruce up your mantle, adorn your tabletops, and deck your halls.
Caitlin Wilson Design
Wilson is wrapping up 2020 with a holiday collection that translates her polished, preppy aesthetic to tree skirts, tabletop décor, and more. The line’s silk stockings are luxe but reasonably priced; choose from plaids and pastels, and add an embroidered monogram if you’d like. You’ll also find gilded wooden ornaments shaped like picture frames and tiny antique chairs, plus a handful of porcelain ornaments, like a regal swan and a gold-spotted Dalmatian. We’re particularly smitten with Wilson’s Holiday Home Collection. Remember your grandmother’s tiny tabletop Christmas villages? These have the same nostalgic feel, but with a reimagined aesthetic. Each glittering vignette features a different architectural style, dusted in powdery snow. Shop all offerings at caitlinwilson.com.
Dunbar Road Design
Though designer Carla Fonts Hrncir often draws inspiration from her travels, her new line of holiday wreaths and garlands takes that practice to the next level. Named for some of her favorite cities, each collection evokes the spirit of its namesake destination. There’s the Charleston, which pays homage to the classic Southern charm of her daughter’s alma mater city and is accented with magnolias, red berries, and velvet ribbons. The Telluride, on the other hand, brings a cozy Ralph Lauren, ranch-inspired feel, replete with antlers. Or, for a tropical feel, deck your halls with the lemon- and lime-dotted Palm Beach greens. Robert Lawrence Designs
For over 20 years, the Robert Lawrence team has been sprucing up clients’ homes for the holidays. You’ll start with a home visit to go over your interior decorating style; from there, the team will design holiday arrangements for your approval. (Think door decorations, faux wreaths and garlands, dining table centerpieces, and more.) The best part? You don’t have to lift a finger. Robert Lawrence Designs will deliver and professionally install the arrangements, and when the season ends, they’ll return to carefully pack them up for storage. CocoAndré Chocolatier
The family-owned Oak Cliff chocolate maker specializes in molded treats of all shapes and sizes. These vintage-inspired trees are available in various sizes; the biggest is nearly a foot tall. Use them as décor–just not on the mantle above a roaring fire–then enjoy them for dessert. Find these trees and other seasonal confections (including a hand-painted Santa and a nativity scene) here.
