Fans who can’t wait until director Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated, 4-hour cut of 2017’s Justice League begins streaming on March 18 can head to the AT&T Discovery District. The parent company of HBO Max has opened what it’s calling the #SnyderCut Exhibit, which provides an exclusive look at the director’s cinematic universes for DC Films. It may be the only chance to see the director’s ideas for a planned trilogy up close. Despite storyboards for a so-called “Snyderverse” going viral, the recut of 2017’s film is all that’s currently planned for production.
Those storyboards can be found within the AT&T-sponsored exhibit. Expect featured artwork from Jim Lee, Harley Quinn, and Joker’s weapons from Suicide Squad. You’ll see Knightmare costumes of Mera from Aquaman and Deathstroke from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. At the moment, this exhibit is your best chance to see Snyder’s vision up close.
Johanna Fuentes, the company’s head of communications, confirmed the exhibit will be open for the next few months. So you have some time. According to the film’s official Twitter account, the exhibit is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a limited capacity of 20 people. (Oddly, AT&T’s website is not yet updated with the exhibit’s information.)
For three years, Snyder fans campaigned for the release of the original cut on social media using the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. They got their wish: the modern day fan-activism movement influenced Warner to revive the film for its wildly popular streaming service. With millions of fans across the globe, the new Justice League is expected to break streaming records.
But before that, the only place in the country to see the exhibit is AT&T’s corporate headquarters in downtown Dallas.
