It hit me during episode 4 of Style Network’s Big Rich Texas that this isn’t a TV show, it’s an infomercial. This week viewers were introduced to one of Bonnie’s businesses, My Mystery Party, a refreshing change from Used Couture By Connie and Leslie’s Pageant Boot Camp. But even though it seems each cast member will have plenty of time to peddle products, it’s so unfair that Pamela’s Evil Consulting Agency gets so much more airtime than the others.

Last week on Big Rich Texas, beauty pageants were won and golf instructors were humiliated. Where else could Style Network possibly go to give viewers the impression that ladies in Dallas drink the blood of poor people for breakfast? To a fashion show in Uptown and a Collin County backyard full of Greek statues, that’s where.

Style Network starts episode 2 of Big Rich Texas with Leslie, a good choice because we hated her far less than some of the others at the end of last week’s premiere. But that's no big surprise-we totally loved her on season 3, episode 5 of Millionaire Matchmaker. Sorry that didn’t work out, Leslie. But as a refresher, Leslie had just moved to Texas from California and scored a membership at the Woodhaven Country Club in Fort Worth. Since she’s new to the area, producers were able to trick her into believing the club is: 1. in Dallas 2. super exclusive

Style Network’s Big Rich Texas has been referred to as season 2 of the 2009 train wreck, Dallas Divas and Daughters. Big Rich follows 5 mother/daughter duos intended to represent Dallas’ most elite members of society.
