Son of a biscuit—Biscuit Bar is the place to be for brunch! ☀️💕⁣ ⁣ My sister and I enjoyed the ~grilled chicken biscuit~ and the ~fancy chicken biscuit~ and of course we got a side of loaded tots. ⁣The biscuits were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle and the chicken was breaded and fried to perfection—oh, and I could drink the house made fancy sauce! ⁣ Can’t wait to go back and try their sweet cocktails and some more menu items. I’ll definitely be back soon! 💕

If you couldn’t tell by now, I LOVE sandwiches! • This sandwich I made after visiting #superchix I opted for a slightly healthier version of their Nashville Hot. I used a chicken thigh cooked in a little bit of olive oil and topped it with a kale and purple cabbage cole slaw, a little mayo, red wine vinegar, #cholulahotsauce sauce, a few dry seasonings and green onions on a toasted buttery brioche bun. • Have you ever eaten a sandwich and the bread/bun wasn’t toasted and your delicious sauce just plopped on you plate, or worse on the floor?! Annoying, right? Well, for some scientific reason when the bread is toasted, it forms a harder surface/barrier that sticks to the bread and allows your sauce to stay put! Give it a try next time!
