Yesterday it was announced that Dallas native and owner of East Hampton Sandwich Co., Hunter Pond, made Forbes’ 2015 30 Under 30 Food & Wine list.

I reached out to Pond this afternoon to capture his reaction. “[I’m] Incredibly grateful. It’s an honor not only for me, but also for my team and partners who have worked hard to build the East Hampton brand.” As for how the nod will affect the company, “This definitely impacts the East Hampton team. It serves as an affirmation that our efforts and products are being recognized as something truly unique, which we have strived for since day one. This recognition is a motivator for me, my partner Will, and the whole East Hampton team to continue to work like there is no tomorrow.”
